Originally known as George Mischel & Sons, Owensboro Monument Company was started in 1878. George Mischel and his sons provided families with beautiful memorials for many years. The monument company was initially located at 412 E. Second Street. This building is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the USA.
Owensboro Monument Company relocated the business to 802 Old Hartford Rd. Owensboro Monument Company carries on the tradition of providing beautiful personalized monuments to families throughout the area. Being a Rock of Ages retailer, we have access to some of the finest granite available. Because of this, we are able to provide families with timeless creations and custom memorial designs. We are also proud to have been part of many civic and community involvements over the years.
